(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Firework Display.
Name & affected length of road –
Beach Road / North Shore Road (west side) from its junction with North Shore Lane northwards to Kilmarnock Road
Walker Avenue (north and west side) from its junction with Beach Road / North Shore Road, east then north to its junction with Johnston Drive.
Burnfoot Avenue (both sides) from the northern boundary of No. 69 northwards and westwards for a distance of approximately 28 metres.
Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 04 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 04 November 2023 at 16:00 with the restrictions removed by 23:00 later that same day.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
