Emergency Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, that the following Traffic Management restrictions be introduced with immediate effect for emergency Scottish Water repairs.
Road Closure – U49 - closed between the U54 Townhead northwards for approximately 200 metres to Orchard Cottage.
Period of restriction – The Notice is valid for a period of up to 21 days from the date below unless a further notice is issued under Section 15(8)(b)(ii) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The restrictions will only be in force at times when the appropriate signs are displayed. Access to properties and premises will be maintained whenever possible and emergency services and pedestrian access will not be affected.
Alternative route – will be signed via Drumdow Road, A77(T) and vice versa.
