(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023
On 11 May 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing
Temporary Road Closure – U66 South Balloch, Barr, for 4250m.
The Order commences on 22 May 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 22 May 2023 at 08:00 until 05 June 2023 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected. Local access for residents, deliveries will be via diversion route
An alternative route will be signed via U27 Deil's Elbow, onto B741 Dailly - Straiton, onto U25 Delamford, onto U66 South Balloch and vice versa
