(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Works
Road Closure -
From Junction Dallhowan Street to no 19 Kirkmichael Road
No Waiting -
Kirkmichael Road - 100M both sides of the road from No 19 to the junction to Dalhowan Street Junction
Newton Street - 100M Both sides of the road full length
Kirkbride Crescent - 135 Both sides from No 1 to the junction of Kirkmichael Road
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 01 June 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 01 June 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions remaining until 01 June 2023 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access and access for residents will be via diversion route
Alternative route - Signed via Details of Kirkbride Crescent > Newton Street > Dalhowan St (END) Vice Versa in both directions.
