(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow works on behalf of Network Rail.
Name of road - B734 -The road will be closed at the rail bridge.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 03 July 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 03 July 2023 at 22:00 until 07 July 2023 at 06:00.
The road is expected to only be closed between 22:00 and 06:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents will be maintained to closure point, all other access will be via diversion route
Alternative route - Signed via the A714 / A77 & Vice Versa.
