(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023

NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow BT Works 

Name & affected length of road – B730 Main Street- 130m Main Street. Starting from Premier Store on the rightof Richmond Terrace heading towards The Auchans restaurant and bar. (Restriction will end at thebuilding before the above premises. Restrictions will be on both sides of the road.

Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any 

This Notice commences on 22 May 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 22 May 2023 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 24 May 2023 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
