(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Works
Name of road - Saltpans Road Ayr - Road closed on Saltpans Road onto Promenade for 243 meters .
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 07 April 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 07 April 2023 at 08:00 until 07 April 2023 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - Signed via the Weir Road > Limekin Road > Prestwick Road > Woodfield Road > end and vice versa
Bellrock Road > Woodfield Road > Prestwick Road > Limeklin Road > end and vice versa.
