(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023

On 09 February 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Bridge Parapet Repairs 

Temporary Road Closure – B730 Stair Bridge, Mauchline, 90m ( Stair Bridge ).

The Order commences on 01 March 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 01 March 2023 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 15 March 2023 at 15:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Due to the nature of the works Emergency Services access and access for residents will be via diversion route only.

Deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via Diversion onto B743 following the road onto the A77. Following the A77 south until reaching the roundabout. Join the A70 and following to the B730 and vice versa
