On 29 September 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for British Telecom contractors to install new ducting
U27 Deil’s Elbow - Phase 1: From the junction with the B741 at Cloyntie, southwards for a distance of approximately 500 metres; Phase 2: From the junction with the U45 Ladyburn, southwards for a distance of approximately 1200 metres.
The Order commences on 10 October 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Monday 10 October until anticipated completion by 6.00pm on Friday 21 October 2022
To minimise inconvenience, the works will be carried out in phases and exact days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route for Phase 1, signed via B741, U16 Burnton and U45 Ladyburn and for Phase 2 via U45 Ladyburn, B741, U25 Delamford, and U66 South Balloch in both directions.
