NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow British Telecom contractors to upgrade the local network.


Name of road – U94 Stafflar, from the Council boundary with East Ayrshire at Inchgotrick Farm, southwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres.


Nature and period of restriction - Road closure


This Notice commences on 4 October 2022 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.

The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Tuesday 4 October until 6.00pm on Thursday 6 October 2022.


Exact days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services and pedestrian access will not be affected. Access for residents, deliveries and to farm and agricultural businesses out-with the working zone will be maintained.


Alternative route - An alternative route will be signed via the B730, B751, U73 Ditton, C120 Earlston Road, B7038 and U61 Stafflar in both directions.
