NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following length of road to allow a bridge inspection to be undertaken by Network Rail contractors:
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
Name of road - C44 Dailly – Turnberry, closed between points approximately 10 metres either side of the Station Bridge located approximately 140 metres west of the B741.
This Notice commences on 14 September 2022 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
Works are expected to commence from 10:00pm on Wednesday 14 September with anticipated completion of these works by 6:00am the following morning Thursday 15 September 2022.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the restriction will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Any Pedestrian and Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Alternative route - Signed via the C44, U19 Chapelton, U38 Hallowshean and the U62 Roughneuk in both directions
