On 18 August 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Openreach contractors inspect their installations:- 

B7023 Crosshill Road- Both sides: From northern boundary of No.20 Crosshill Road, south-eastwards to the southern boundary of No.26 Crosshill Road; Drumellan Street - Both sides: From the B7023 Crosshill Road, south-westwards to boundary between Nos.1/3 Drumellan Street; Society Street – Both sides: From boundary between Nos. 5/7 Society Street, north-westwards to Ladywell Road; Glebe Crescent – Both sides: From boundary between Nos.39/41 Glebe Crescent, south-westwards to the B7023 Crosshill Road.

The Order commences on 25 August 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 7.00am Thursday 25 August with the restrictions being removed by 6.00pm on Thursday 1 September 2022 

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
