South Ayrshire Council(B741 Straiton to Dalmellington at Lone Glen Bridge, Straiton) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022 - South Ayrshire Archived

On 4 August 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for installation of a safety barrier and some associated reconstruction works:-

B741 Straiton to Dalmellington – Between points approximately 20 metres either side of the Lone Glen Bridge bridge deck.

The Order commences on 15 August 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Monday 15 August until anticipated completion by 4.00pm on Friday 16 September 2022

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
 

An alternative route will be signed via B741, B7045, C11 Kirkmichael – Patna, A713 and B741 in both directions.
