NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Network Rail contractors to replace the railway bridge:-
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
Name of road - A759 from the Auchingate Interchange To B730 Drybridge Road Dundonald, Dundonald, South Ayrshire at railway bridge.
This Notice commences on 6 August 2022 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 8.00pm Saturday 6 August until 6.00am the following morning Sunday 7 August 2022.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the restriction will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services and pedestrian access will not be affected.
Alternative route - Signed via the A759, B7030 Drybridge road, Shewalton Road, B7080 Long Drive / Moss Drive and the A78(T) to the A759 at Auchengate, Barassie in both directions.
