On 7 July 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow BT Openreach contractors to upgrade the local network ducting and cabling:-

U102 Black Clauchrie, (Forest road) – From junction with the A714 at Blair Farm, north-eastwards via Low Laggan and Laggan to termination of the road at Darnaconnar Farm.

The Order commences on 18 July 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 9:30am Monday 18 July until 3.30pm on Friday 7 October 2022

To minimise inconvenience, he road is expected to only be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services and pedestrian access will not be affected. As the Black Clauchrie Forest road is a no through road, there is no alternative route so access for residents, to farms and for deliveries will be maintained whenever possible, but may be restricted at times.
