NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water contractors to make repairs to defective ironwork in the carriageway:-
Name of road – Doonholm Road, closed between a point just west of Parkview to the B7024 Alloway.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 30 June 2022 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 9.30am Thursday 30 June with the closure remaining in place until 3.30pm later that same day.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services and pedestrian access will not be affected. Access for residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - Signed via the B7024 Alloway, Clochranhill Road and Parkview in both directions.
