On 26 May 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Openreach contractors to upgrade the local BT Openreach network.
C11 Kirkmichael - Patna - From its junction with Bolestyle Road, eastwards to the county boundary with East Ayrshire.
The Order commences on 20 June 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Monday 20 June until 5.00pm on Friday 1 July 2022
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access to businesses, for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
An alternative route will be signed via the B7045 Kirkmichael Road to Straiton, B741 and the A713 Dalmellington Road to the C11 at Patna in both directions.
