South Ayrshire Council (South Beach, Victoria drive, Bentinck Drive, Dallas Road & Dallas Place, Troon)(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022 - South Ayrshire Archived

On 2 June 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area)(South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-names Order to allow BT Openreach contractors to upgrade the local Network:-

South Beach - Both sides from 60 Metres north of Victoria Drive, southwards to 60 metres south of Victoria Drive; 

Victoria Drive- Both sides from 30 metres west of South beach, eastwards to 90 metres northeast of South Beach;

Bentinck Drive- Both sides from 110 metres north of Dallas Road, southwards to 60 metres south of Dallas Road

Dallas Road- Both sides from Bentinck Drive, south-westwards for 60 metres

Dallas Place- Both sides from Bentinck Drive, north-eastwards for 60 metres

The order commences on 14 June 2022 and has maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Tuesday 14 June with the restrictions introduced as the works progress being removed by 6.00pm on Monday 27 June 2022.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
