On 14 April 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to prevent inconsiderate parent parking that should improve road safety for pedestrians travelling to and from Doonfoot Primary School.


No Waiting or Loading at School Times - Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 9:15am and 2:45pm to 3:30pm


Abbots Way - Both Sides: From the western boundary of the driveway to No.39, south-westwards for approximately 8 metres.


Greenan Grove - Both Sides: From the northeastern boundary of the driveway to No.15, south-eastwards for approximately 5.5 metres.


Greenan Road - Southwest side: From the southernmost boundary of the driveway to No.41 / commencement of the speed table, south-westwards for approximately 11 metres.


The Order commences on 21 April 2022 and will last for its maximum duration of 18 months or until a permanent Order is made, whichever is sooner
