On 12 May 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for carriageway resurfacing:-


C29 North Water of Girvan – From junction of the B741 Dailly Road, north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 10,290 metres.


The Order commences on 23 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Monday 23 May until 5.00pm on Friday 10 June 2022


The road is expected to be closed between 8.00am and 5.00pm each day with it being open out-with these times.


The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.


Emergency Services access will not be affected and access to businesses, for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.


An alternative route will be signed via Dailly Road – Ladywell Road – Abbot’s Street – B7023 Crosshill Road – B7023 King Street – B7023 Dailly Road – B741 Straiton/Dailly and the C29 Ruglen to North Water of Girvan / Kilhenzie in both directions.
