South Ayrshire Council (George Street & Ballybroke Street, Girvan) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2022 - South Ayrshire Archived

NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow BT Openreach contractors to install a new pole and cabinet:-

Name & affected length of road – George Street, both sides: From junction with Glendoune Street, westwards to 20 metres west of Ballybroke Street; Ballybroke Street, both sides: From 30 metres south of the south kerbline of George Street, northwards to 20 metres north of the north kerbline of George Street.

Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time

This Notice commences on Monday 23 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 9:30am Monday 23 May with the restrictions remaining until 3:30pm later that same day.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
