On 12 May 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Openreach contractors to remove blockages from ducting:


Allan’s Hill, Dailly – Both sides: From the boundary between Nos.32/34 & 36/38 northwards to the junction with Dailly Road;

Dailly Road, Dailly – East side: From the junction of Allan’s Hill, southwards for a distance of approximately 32 metres. West side: From the north-westernmost boundary of No.21 south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 42 metres.


The Order commences on 19 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 7.00am Thursday 19 May with the restrictions being removed by 6.00pm on Monday 23 May 2022


The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
