(Ayrshire Roads Alliance) A Partnership between East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council as partner Local Authorities for the Ayrshire Local Plan District, advise The Order which comes into force on Thursday 5 May 2022 was advertised in the Carrick Gazette Post on 12 August 2020 and the effect of the Order is as stated in said notice that being to implement new speed limits on the following lengths of road:
20mph Speed Limit
A714 Main Street: From 74 metres southwest of the Duisk Bridge deck, south-westwards and north-westwards for 884 metres, including changing 220 metres of part time 20mph to at all times.
Main Street (leading to Ardsheen Park): From Main Street (A714), north-eastwards for 175 metres.
Gowlands Terrace: From Main Street (A714), south-westwards for 137 metres.
B7027 Drumlamford: From the A714 Barrhill Road / Main Street, south-eastwards for 30 metres. Wallace Terrace: For its entire length.
30mph Speed Limit
A714 Newton Stewart Road: From 74 metres southwest of the Duisk Bridge deck, north-eastwards and south-eastwards for 197 metres.
A714 Pinwherry Road: From 270 metres northwest of Gowlands Terrace, north-westwards for 160 metres.
C72 Gowlands Terrace: From 137 metres west of Main Street (A714), south-westwards for 100 metres.
B7027 Drumlamford: From 30 metres south of the A714 Barrhill Road / Main Street, south-eastwards for 70 metres or thereby.
