(Ayrshire Roads Alliance) A Partnership between East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council as partner Local Authorities for the Ayrshire Local Plan District, advise that the Order which comes into force on Thursday 5 May 2022 was advertised in the Ayrshire Post on 25 November 2020 and the effect of the Order is as stated in said notice that being to implement new speed limits on the following lengths of road:-

20mph Speed Limit

Barganock Road - entire length;

Bolestyle Road - entire length; 

Dryrock Road - entire length;

Meadowbank Place - entire length;

Portcheek Terrace - entire length;

Dalrymple Road: From Patna Road northwards for 83 metres;

B7045 Maybole Road: From the west gable end of 1 Maybole Road for 168 metres;

Patna Road: From Straiton Road, westwards for 551 metres;

Straiton Road: From the west gable end of 1 Maybole Road, south-eastwards for 624 metres.

30mph Speed Limit

C11 Patna Road: From 551 metres west of Straiton Road, westwards for 62 metres; Dalrymple Road: From 83 metres north of Patna Road, northwards for 42 metres;

B7045 Maybole Road: From 168 metres from the west gable end of 1 Maybole Road, westwards for 63 metres;

Straiton Road: From 624 metres southeast of the west gable end of 1 Maybole Road, south-eastwards for 40 metres.

Other existing 20mph speed limits on the entire lengths of Bolestyle Crescent and Woodside Avenue for their entire lengths have been incorporated into this Order for ease of reference with no changes made to these existing restrictions.
