(Ayrshire Roads Alliance) A Partnership between East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council as partner Local Authorities for the Ayrshire Local Plan District, advise that the Order which comes into force on Thursday 5 May 2022 was advertised in the Ayrshire Post on 25 November 2020 and the effect of the Order is as stated in said notice that being to implement new speed limits on the following lengths of road:-
20mph Speed Limit
Bruce Square: entire length
Carrick Drive: entire length
King Street: entire length
Kirkbride Crescent: entire length
Kirkmichael Road: entire length
Milton Street: entire length
Newton Street: entire length
Dalhowan Street: From King Street southwards for 604 metres.
30mph Speed Limit
B7023 Dailly Road: From King Street westwards for 106 metres.
B7023 Maybole Road: From 8 metres north the Crosshill bridge deck, northwards for 53 metres.
C31 Kirkmichael Road: From 47 metres west of Glenmore, 61 Kirkmichael Road, eastwards for 68 metres.
C88 Dalhowan Street: From 40 metres south of 93 Dalhowan Street, southwards for 60 metres.
