On 14 April 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for water mains renewals by Scottish Water:-
Temporary Road Closures
B730 Craigie - Phase 1: From 15 metres west of U80 High Langside & Craigie, south-eastwards to just west of C92 Plewlands, a distance of 450 metres; U80 High Langside & Craigie - Closed at junction with B730 Craigie.
B730 Craigie - Phase 2: From just east of Craigie Mains road end, south-eastwards to 15 metres west of U80 High Langside & Craigie, a distance of 850 metres

B730 Craigie - Phase 3: From just east of Craigie Mains road end, north-westwards to outside of Syke Farm, a distance 650 metres.
B730 Craigie - Phase 4: From just north of entrance to Syke Farm, north-westwards to No.3 Tarbolton Road, Symington, a distance of 420 metres.
The Order commences on 25 April 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Monday 25 April and to minimise inconvenience will be carried out in 4 phases.
Phase 1: 25 April – 26 June 2022;
Phase 2: 27 June – 14 August 2022;
Phase 3: 15 August – 2 October 2022 and
Phase 4: expected to begin on 3 October until Sunday 13 November 2022
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route for all phases will be signed via B730, A719 to Sandyford Toll and the A77(T) via Dutch House roundabout to Symington, B730 Tarbolton Road in both directions.
