(Various Roads, Prestwick) (Temporary Road Closures & Waiting Restrictions) Order 2018
On 28/3/18 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, by reason of Scottish Gas works to be executed on or near the road.
Road Closure
This Order makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Grangemuir Rd (between Main St and Midton Rd), Bellevue Rd (between Main St and Sandfield Rd), Bank St (between Main St and Midton Rd) Midton Rd (between Bank St and Kyle St), or Kyle St (between Main St and Midton Rd), Prestwick
Local diversions will be signed. Works are progressive and the closures will only be in place in the vicinity of works.
Emergency services vehicles and Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period
Prohibition of Waiting
This Order makes it unlawful for any vehicle to wait on—
Grangemuir Rd (between Main St and Midton Rd), Bellevue Rd (between Main St and Sandfield Rd), Bank St (between Main St and Midton Rd) Midton Rd (between Bank St and Kyle St), or Kyle St (between Main St and Midton Rd), Prestwick

The Order is in force from 07:00 hrs on 3/4/18 for a period of 18 months but works are expected to be completed by 18:00 hrs on31/8/18, and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
