On 16/10/17 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on B734 Barr/ Old Dailly road (except vehicles engaged in Carriageway Surfacing works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 09:30 hrs on 30/10/17 until 15:30 hrs on 24/11/17, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
The closure will be in place only between the hours 09:30 -15:30 on a daily basis. Works are weather dependant and the closure will not be in place in the event that works have to be temporarily suspended.
Emergency services vehicles and Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via B734, B7035, Coalpotts Rd, A714 and B734 and vice versa.
This route is not suitable for large vehicles due to a hump backed bridge on B734 at the junction with A714.
