Scottish Natural Heritage declared Mar Lodge Estate as a new National Nature Reserve (NNR) on 21 August 2017.
Mar Lodge Estate covers 29,324 hectares of land in Aberdeenshire and is owned and managed by The National Trust for Scotland.
