(B709 BERRYBUSH – WEST OF SELKIRK)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2023
The Scottish Borders Council (B709 Berrybush – West of Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 December 2023 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two weeks between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for drainage and verge works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B709 at Berrybush, west of Selkirk.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the B709, B7009, B7039, A708 and B709 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
