(A7 GALASHIELS TO BUCKHOLM)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2023

The Scottish Borders Council (A7 Galashiels to Buckholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 5 June 2023 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. The Order is required for patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A7 from Galashiels to Buckholm.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A7, A6091, A68, A720 and A7 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
