CAR PARK CLOSURE NOTICE

WAVERLEY PLACE CAR PARK, NEWTOWN ST BOSWELLS

In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will temporarily close Waverley Place Car Park, Newtown St Boswells. The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the closure will be in effect from 08:00 on 22 May 2023 to 24:00 on 28 May 2023 – 24 hour closure.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be made under Section 14(1) of the above Act which will close Waverley Place Car Park, Newtown St Boswells from 00:01 on 29 May 2023 to 24:00 on 30 July 2023 – 24 hour closure.

The closure is required for formation of a storage area for surface dressing chips.
