(C41 & D143/4 MOREBATTLE TO HOWNAM)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2023
The Scottish Borders Council (C41 & D143/4 Morebattle to Hownam) (Temporary Closing) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 25 May 2023 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 3 June 2023 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C41 and D143/4 Morebattle to Hownam road.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B6401, C40, D149/4, D140/4 and C41 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
