THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BORDERS FESTIVALS – JEDBURGH)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2023

 

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16A(6), Section 16B(1)(b) and Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order which has a maximum duration of fifty-seven days, shall be in effect on 12 May, 18, 24 and 28 June, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 July 2023. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of relevant events, being the Jedburgh Callants Festival 2023. 

When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle, or (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along those lengths of road in Jedburgh and the surrounding area on the dates and at the times specified in the Schedule below. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
