(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (High Street, Eyemouth) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 December 2022 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 18:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water manhole repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along High Street, Eyemouth from North Street to number 58.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Northburn Road, Coldingham Road, Albert Road and Home Street to the point of closure.

The Borders Regional Council (Various Streets, Eyemouth) (Regulation of Traffic) Order 1978 (as amended) will be further amended as follows: the One Way Order on High Street, Eyemouth - from number 58 to Home Street only - will be revoked for the duration of this Order
