(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 4 ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (Duke Street, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) No 4 Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 26 November 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 16 December 2022 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Hawick Flood Protection Scheme works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Duke Street, Hawick from Noble Place to Earl Street.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Earl Street, Arthur Street and Noble Place to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
