(STATION ROAD, EDDLESTON)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (Station Road, Eddleston) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 06:00 on 20 November 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 16 January 2023 – 24 hour closure and restriction. The Order is required for bridge works.

When the Order comes into effect, in Eddleston, no person shall:

1. drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Station Road at Eddleston Bridge; and
2. permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on Old Manse Road from the A703 to Eddleston Bridge.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Station Road, Old Manse Road and the A703 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
