(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) NO 2 ORDER 2022

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Mill Street & Kilncroft, Selkirk) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) No 2 Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 17:01 on 11 August 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 26 August 2022. The Order is required for SGN replacement gas main works.

When the Order comes into effect, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Kilncroft, Selkirk from number 43 to the junction with Mill Street. The alternative route is via Mill Street, Green Terrace and Kilncroft to the point of closure.

The Scottish Borders Council (The Trunk Road (Selkirk) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1971) and (The Burgh of Selkirk (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and One-way Traffic Working) Order 1972, as amended will be further amended as follows: the One Way Order on Kilncroft will be revoked from 17:01 on 11 August 2022 to 17:00 on 26 August 2022.
