ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

DUKE STREET, HAWICK

In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will temporarily close Duke Street, Hawick from Noble Place to Earl Street. The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the closure will be in effect from 18:01 on 5 August to 18:00 on 15 August 2022 – 24 hour closure.

The closure is required for on-going Hawick Flood Protection Scheme works and continues the road closure currently in place on Duke Street, Hawick.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Earl Street, Arthur Street and Noble Place to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing
