(C24 BILLHOPE CULVERT)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (C24 Billhope Culvert) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 8 August 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 9 September 2022 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for culvert works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along C24 at Billhope culvert, south of Hawick.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C24, C77a, A7, C76a, C26, B6357, B6399 and C24 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
