(C34 SAUGHTREE TO DEADWATER)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (C34 Saughtree to Deadwater) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 12 July 2022 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for surface dressing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C34 Saughtree to Deadwater road from Cadron cattle grid to the English Border.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6357, A6088, A68, B6320 and C200 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

The closure is only required for one day but as the works are weather dependent the Order will be in effect for five days.
