(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (D58/3 Lanton Village) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 13 July 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 17 July 2022 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Power works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D58/3 in Lanton Village, at Lanton Place.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the D58/3, C38, A698 and D58/3 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
