(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (Damside & Strand, Innerleithen) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 11 July 2022 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven, and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, along Damside and Strand, Innerleithen from the junction of Bond Street to Leithen Road.

The alternative route for southbound and northbound traffic is via Leithen Road to the point of closure.
