THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BORDERS FESTIVALS – KELSO)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGLATION) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish ministers under Section 16B(1)(b) and Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Order. The Order, which has a maximum duration of seven days, will be in force on 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 23 July 2022. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of relevant events relating to Kelso Civic Week.

When the Order comes into effect:

1. no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, or (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along those lengths of road on the dates and at the times specified in the Schedule below; and
2. The Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Kelso) (Traffic Regulation) Order 2006 (as amended) will be further amended as follows:

1. the One Way Order on Winchester Row will be reversed between the hours of 17:50 and 18:30 on 17 July 2022; and

2. the One Way Order on the DK54/4 Union Street, Kelso will be reversed between the hours of 18:00 and 20:30 on 20 July 2022 and 23 July 2022.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
