THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BORDERS FESTIVALS - DUNS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022

 

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(1)(b) and Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of eight days, will be in force from 3 July to 10 July 2022. The closures are required to facilitate the holding of relevant events, being the Duns Summer Festival 2022.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle or (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along those lengths of road in Duns and the surrounding area on the dates and at the times detailed in the Schedule below.

Opening Ceremony and Cycle Run – 3 July 2022

From 11:00 to 13:30 (opening ceremony) and from 17:00 and 20:30 (cycle run)
