(FOOTPATH – LOWER MANSFIELD ROAD, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (Footpath – Lower Mansfield Road, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of six months, will come into force at 00:01 on 21 May 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 20 November 2022 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Power works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall walk or cycle along the footpath at Lower Mansfield Road, Hawick.

The alternative route for eastbound pedestrians and cyclists is via Hamilton Road and the temporary route behind Lower Mansfield Road to the point of closure, for westbound pedestrians and cyclists the reverse of the foregoing.
