(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (Old Bongate, Jedburgh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 31 January 2022 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Old Bongate, Jedburgh from Old Bongate Mill Road to Upper Bongate Gardens.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Old Bongate, Bridge Street, High Street, Bongate and Old Bongate to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
