(C1 MELDON COTTAGE, WEST OF PEEBLES)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

The Scottish Borders Council (C1 Meldon Cottage, West of Peebles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 24 January 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 28 January 2022 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C1 at Meldon Cottage, west of Peebles.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A72, A703 and C1 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
