(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Everest Road, Earlston) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 2 December 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 3 December 2021 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Everest Road, Earlston from number 2 to number 36.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Everest Road, Queensway, Crown Road and Everest Road to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
