(A699 ST BOSWELLS TO KELSO)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021
The Scottish Borders Council (A699 St Boswells to Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 November 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 3 December 2021 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A699 St Boswells to Kelso road from east of Maxton to Ploughlands.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A699, A68, B6404, A6089, A698, B6352 and A699 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
